CARALINE MENZIES BCST RCST
Caraline has been interested in complementary therapies since her teens, and has worked in this field since her mid-twenties. In 2002 she trained as an Aromatherapist and Massage Therapist, and specialised in treating pregnant women throughout her years of practise in Cambridge. After a very positive experience of receiving Reiki, Caraline trained from 2005 - 2007 to reach the Master Teacher level.
Developing her idea of working more subtly with the body, Caraline trained as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist with the London-based Craniosacral Therapy Education Trust, between 2007 and 2009. Caraline now practises this exclusively. She believes it works at a profound level, having long term positive results, whilst being a relaxing and grounding experience in itself.
She continues to specialise in pregnant women, but is also interested in working with clients who suffer from long term illness, chronic pain, or unwanted patterns, be they physical, mental and/or emotional.
Caraline currently works as a volunteer at the Sara Lee Centre, providing Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy for people with terminal illness. The aim is to help people live as comfortably as possible with their illness, and to enable them to cope better emotionally with all aspects of long term serious illness.
Caraline is a qualified Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST), registered with the Craniosacral Therapy Association (RCST). Members of the Association must complete a certain amount of continuing professional development each year, attend supervision sessions and hold insurance to practise.
She loves living by the sea and growing her own vegetables.
