Catherine Burnett BEd MRSS (T) graduated as a teacher of Physical Education in 1993 and her teaching background led her to a career in management training and development, where she specialised in stress management. She moved to Portugal for 6 years to enjoy a simple life training horses, and in the cork hills of the peaceful Alentejo, discovered the profound wisdom of the healing arts based on traditional Chinese Medicine.

Inspired to share the health and happiness they bring, she re-trained extensively in England and now has over 12 years experience teaching and practicing Qigong, Meditation, Shiatsu and Reiki. She is co-founder of the Shiatsu College Qigong Teacher Training and teaches for the Shiatsu College in London, Greece, Brighton and Hastings. She has also worked in partnership with the NHS., Hastings Borough Council, E.S.C.C. and Sussex Wildlife Trust on various health and wellbeing programmes. 

 

 

Qualifications
• UK Shiatsu Society registered teacher • Bachelor of Education (PE) • Diploma in Shiatsu and traditional Chinese Medicine • Instructor Certificates, Tai Chi Qigong • Reiki Master Teacher

Treatments
Catherine offers Shiatsu, Reiki, Qigong and Meditation treatments/tuition. She also offers Tai Chi Qigong and Meditation courses, which start every six weeks. You can find the dates for upcoming courses on our Yoga Studio Timetable and under Workshops.

Cost
£45 per hour for treatments
£40 for 1-1 Qigong and Meditation tuition.
