Mae has been fascinated by the miracle of childbirth since the age of 4 when she saw her brother being born in her sitting room at home.
Having now had 3 children of her own with 3 different labours, Mae understands the uniqueness of each pregnancy and labour, and is passionate about empowering other mothers-to-be and guiding them on their journey to becoming a mum. Mae found using breathing practices and yoga during her pregnancies and births so beneficial that she decided to train as a pregnancy and postnatal yoga teacher.
Mae completed her training with Brighton based Lushtums in 2014 and has since enjoyed working with many pregnant and postnatal women using yoga, breath work and other tools to relax and prepare or restore the body through this sacred time in a woman’s life.
Mae is also a mentored birth and postnatal doula understanding the deep need for physical and emotional support not only during pregnancy and birth but also in the fragile postnatal period.. the 4thtrimester.
Mae’s Pregnancy Yoga classes combine yoga postures and movement along with essential breathing practices and other techiniques to keep you fit throughout pregnancy and prepare your body physically and emotionally for birth. Each class is tailored to the needs of the women in the room that day and always ends with a deep relaxation.
Classes are a great place to meet up with other mums to be, share experiences and learn tools that allow you to listen to your body, follow your instincts, connect with your baby and release tensions and fears.
