Hilary Totah has been practising yoga for the past thirty-five years. Her yoga has been influenced by the many different styles and teachers she has worked with in that time. She was a shiatsu bodyworker and teacher for 25 years and also uses her comprehensive knowledge of structural anatomy and oriental principles to inform her teaching, sometimes moving beyond traditional yoga.
Hilary’s unique style is allowing, encouraging each student to stay within their ability and range of fitness. Her classes can be fun and informative, soft and strong, energising and powerful.
She focuses on simple postures, the breath and the natural movement of the spine and the pelvis to improve posture and balance and increase core strength and flexibility.
Each class finishes with a deeply relaxing lying down meditation.
