Sally Paffard

Sally brings a sense of playfulness and enjoyment to her teaching whilst encouraging her students to develop their full potential so that they can move with ease and grace. She has an intuitive approach, which enables her to work sensitively with her clients and pick up on people’s needs, making appropriate and effective adaptions.

She trained with the Pilates Foundation on their 2 year Studio Equipment and Matwork course in 2002, qualifying in 2003.  Since then, she has been teaching 1-2-1 and 2-2-1s in her fully equipped studio in Kent, together with matwork classes in Cranbrook and Marden.

She qualified to teach Garuda in 2011 and has really enjoyed combining this with the extensive knowledge she has gained from many wonderful and inspiring teachers from a wide variety of mind/body disciplines including pilates, yoga, tai chi, feldenkreis, and dance release.

Sally first discovered the benefits of studio Pilates way back in the late 1980s when she was working as a builder and suffering from a bad back. Later on, whilst studying dance at Middlesex University, she was introduced to matwork Pilates and the two systems have been a part of her life ever since.
