Sadhana means a daily practice and self-discipline of the mind and body to serve the soul. We begin by listening to a sacred sound current, this is followed by a kundalini yoga kriya (sequence of yoga postures), relaxation and chanting or singing mantras.
Sadhana at The Wellington Centre has been set up by Yeli and Belinda to provide a space for new and trainee kundalini yoga teachers to share their practice in a welcoming space where the local community can come together to move, to breathe to chant and become one.
Suggested donation £3 to £15. All donations will go directly to The Sara Lee Trust to support The Wellington Health & Wellbeing Centre’s fundraising commitment to the charity. Help us to support this worthy local cause.
The kriya is lead rather than instructed so whilst all are welcome you may find it helpful to have attended a class first. If you are a trainee or new kundalini yoga teacher or musician and would like to share sadhana please contact Belinda in the first instance.
Doing Sadhana in a group develops group consciousness, amplifying the impact of the meditation. We gather during amrit vela "the ambrosial hours". We chant, we breath, we move.... we share, we become ONE.
