The next gathering will be held on Sunday 6 October - all welcome!
Sadhana means a daily practice and self-discipline of the mind and body to serve the soul. We begin by listening to a sacred sound current, this is followed by an hour of kundalini yoga and relaxation and an hour of chanting or singing mantras.
Sadhana at the Wellington centre has been set up by Yeli and Priti Mandeep to provide a space for trainee, newly qualified or established kundalini yoga teachers to share their own daily practice in a welcoming space where the local community can come together to move, to breathe to chant and become one.
Suggested donation £5 to £15. All donations will go directly to The Sara Lee Trust fundraising commitment at The Wellington Health and Wellbeing Centre. Help us to support this local charity.
The kriya is lead (rather than instructed). This means that the teacher is also participating in the practice (which is usually done with the eyes closed) so there will be limited instruction or correction during the practice. This is different to a class or workshop where the teacher is available to offer instruction throughout the session. So, whilst all are welcome you may find it helpful to have attended a class first to understand the basics of the practice.
If you are a trainee or new kundalini yoga teacher or musician and would like to share sadhana please contact Yeli in the first instance.
For more information please contact Yeli on email@example.com or on 07983598302 or Priti Mandeep on firstname.lastname@example.org
Doing Sadhana in a group develops group consciousness, amplifying the impact of the meditation. We gather during amrit vela "the ambrosial hours". We chant, we breath, we move.... we share, we become ONE.
