Putting the 'Well' into 'Being'.

Opened in 2007 by husband and wife team Craig and Josephine Sams - the couple behind Green & Black’s chocolate - The Wellington Health & Wellbeing Centre is the realisation of the couple’s shared dream. With deep roots in natural health - Craig - and wellbeing - Jo - the pair wanted to bring a luxurious but affordable holistic centre to their adopted home of Hastings. Both believe that optimum health and wellbeing can be achieved by encouraging a balanced lifestyle and a healthy body, through good diet, improved posture, exercise, relaxation and the restoring of emotional equilibrium.

They converted a neglected Grade-II listed building in to the beautiful centre that exists today using Jo's experience of the world’s best spas and Craig’s love of pilates and then gathered a team of expert professionals to meet a myriad of health, beauty and fitness needs.

Over the last decade the centre has grown from strength to strength and takes particular joy in the contribution Wellington Health & Wellbeing Centre makes to the health of the community of Hastings, a town they love.

Set in one of Hastings’ most handsome Regency buildings, The Wellington Health & Wellbeing Centre is quite simply Sussex’s finest venue for wellness. The calm and welcoming centre excels at offering a holistic approach to wellbeing, bringing together a team of top practitioners to offer a wide choice of complementary alternative therapies, fitness, beauty treatments and more.

The Centre has been designed in line with feng shui principles, following a consultation with local feng shui expert Jinpa Smith, adding mirrors, water and wood elements and specific colours to create the most restful, positive environment possible.

Our treatment rooms are bright and spacious, each individually furnished to make your experience at The Wellington Health & Wellbeing Centre as pleasurable as possible. 44 Wellington Square is a Grade II-listed building dating from the Regency period, with generously-proportioned rooms and sea views from many of the large windows. (In fact, we believe our Pilates Studio probably has the most stunning view of any in the world!)

Our highly experienced complementary and beauty therapists, physiotherapists, pilates instructors, yoga teachers, naturopaths, acupuncturist and other health professionals are  able to meet your unique needs and help bring you to optimal health and wellbeing whether your needs are short or long-term.

The building has a disabled toilet but we regret that there is no wheelchair access to the building as there is no lift.
