Karen is yoga teacher and yoga therapist offering classes for all levels, both dynamic and restorative and one to one yoga therapy.

 

Karen offers beginners yoga, vinyasa flow, chair and restorative yoga classes. As much as her classes are aimed at increasing strength and mobility they also prioritise the regulation of the nervous system. In a world where we are bombarded with constant stimulation and our attention consumed in every minute of the day, Karen offers students a space to feel grounded, stable and resilient.

Classes always include a primary focus on the breath and breath lead movement, and establishing a mindful practice that will leave you feeling balanced and centered to deal with life’s challenges.

 

Yoga therapy is a deeper dive into overall health and wellbeing of the individual. Yoga therapy recognises the deep connection between our mental and physical states and using the practices and philosophies of yoga helps the individual to find greater balance in themselves. This practice is a working partnership and requires the willingness of the client to engage in custom practices to help alleviate symptoms and imbalances.
