Suzanne Caddell - NCPS - Registered Counsellor
I’m Suzanne, an NCPS-registered counsellor offering a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever feels difficult or overwhelming in your life. I currently work with adults on an individual basis and am unable to provide crisis support.
Who I work with:
I work particularly with loss in its many forms. This includes bereavement, but also losses connected to ageing, changes in your body, identity or health, loss of work, relationships or friendships, or a sense of who you thought you were or were going to be. These experiences can be deeply unsettling, and therapy can offer space to make sense of what has been lost, alongside what might still be possible.
I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative counsellor and particularly welcome trans, questioning and gender-diverse clients. I also support individuals experiencing:
· anxiety and depression, including long-standing or recurring patterns
· feelings of overwhelm, low self-esteem, or feeling “stuck”
· the impact of coercive or controlling relationships, including rebuilding confidence and self-trust
· issues related to neurodiversity, including understanding a diagnosis and navigating a largely
neurotypical world
How I work:
My work is relational and client-led, grounded in transactional analysis. This means I pay close attention to how past experiences, patterns of relating, and ways of coping may still be shaping life in the present. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where you set the pace and we work together to explore what feels most important to you.
I offer weekly counselling sessions in a safe, inclusive environment, both online and in person at the Wellington Centre in Hastings, East Sussex.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £55, payable in advance via bank transfer. I also offer a free 15–30 minute consultation call, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and see whether working together feels right. Once we start working together, we will regularly check in to ensure the work continues to feel helpful and in line with what you need.
