Sallie Lennon-Eaton

Hi, I’m Sallie. I describe myself as a barefoot physiotherapist - although I work with issues throughout the body, I have a special interest in the feet and how our connection with the ground affects the whole of us. Alongside my physiotherapy practice, I teach people about their bodies through movement. All of my work is deeply rooted in an understanding and passion for the human body, empowering through education and promoting wellness by inspiring others to find the joy in moving.

I help people to find their feet again through my work with The Foot Collective. I run classes and workshops on how to restore natural foot function, train your balance, liberate your feet from restrictive footwear and build a stronger relationship with the ground below you. I also teach Scaravelli-inspired yoga, a gentle yet powerful form of hatha yoga, in which we awaken the spine, moving in waves and spirals, surrendering to gravity and allowing the breath to move us.

From January at The Wellington Centre I will be running regular workshops and short courses on restoring natural foot function and Scaravelli-inspired yoga. For more information and to book go to www.dynamicanatomy.co.uk

A bit about Sallie:

Sallie’s career has been a rich tapestry of teaching, anatomy and movement. Weaving a BSc in Anatomical Sciences, teaching clinical anatomy to medical students and working as a physiotherapist in the NHS with a personal exploration of movement. She studied dance at Laban Conservatoire, and has trained in Advanced Clinical Massage and Myofascial Release, Western Medical Acupuncture, and teaching Clinical Pilates and Scaravelli-Inspired Yoga. She is a certified Foot Collective Guide and Pro; part of a global collective of health and movement professionals guiding others along their journey toward foot and movement freedom. This unique experience has created her own holistic approach to physiotherapy. Blending therapeutic movement and hands on bodywork, Sallie awakens, strengthens, and teaches the body. Alongside addressing physical problems, her work questions mindsets, ideas and beliefs. She combines eastern philosophical wisdom with western evidence-based physiotherapy. This middle ground views the experience of pain from a wider perspective, and empowers, providing the tools with which to heal yourself. also teaches yoga in Hastings.

Sallie will be holding classes most Friday’s at The Wellington Centre at 6.30pm - 7.30pm and workshops throughout the year.
