Join us as we flow into Autumn and beyond sharing kundalini yoga & meditation practices to cultivate a nourishing, reflective, introspective and grounding space to traverse and honour the change in energies that the festive season brings. Kundalini Yoga is often described as the yoga of awareness, we use different combinations of asanas (posture), pranayama (breathing), mantra (sound), bandha (body
locks) and deep meditation to connect the mind, body and soul. Classes are open to all and suitable for those curious about the benefits of kundalini yoga and meditation 🙏.

About Yeli: Yeli has been practicing yoga since 2001 and teaching since 2010. Her teaching style is compassionate, uplifting and energising. She marries the ancient tradition of kundalini yoga with evolving wisdom and practices from the kundalini yoga medicine series, which are sequences of postures curated by her own teacher. She is an experienced yoga teacher (2000+ hours) and is insured to teach with Yoga Alliance Professionals (YAP).

The first position “Wuji” is a simple standing posture which enables you to relax your body in preparation for the second position.

The second position “Holding the Balloon” is the key posture in the whole system. The focus will be that you become thoroughly comfortable in both of these positions.

By holding a posture in stillness you can develop internal strength, improve your posture and alignment, root your structure, calm your mind, loosen soft tissue and develop the skill of body awareness.

This is a class that focuses on the very basics of yoga.

Aimed at gently mobilising the joints to ease stiffness and increase flexibility, aiding daily functional movements to avoid injuries, and improving breathing capacity to increase general well-being to help you deal with whatever life throws at you.

No frills or fancy stuff.

This class will provide a safe and welcoming environment from a fully registered and experienced yoga instructor and yoga therapist, with no expectations or judgements.

So please come as you are.

All equipment will be provided including yoga mats but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

This is a 6 week course at £50 for all 6 classes and attendance to all 6 sessions is recommended. Payment will be required upfront for the full course. The next course is starting on Wed 10th January.
