Every month for the Full Moon we come together in sacred community to release the past and realign with our highest intentions.

Join Tam for an immersive journey under the first of May’s two Full Moons—the Flower Moon in Scorpio. This particular lunation is a "micromoon," acting as a celestial symbol for renewal and metamorphosis. While Scorpio’s influence invites us to delve into our deepest emotions, the Nodes of Destiny are currently pushing for authentic change, encouraging us to stop sweeping things under the rug and finally allow ourselves to bloom.

Using a plethora of therapeutic instruments, including gongs and crystal singing bowls, Tam will lead a sacred community immersion to help you release stuck energy and align with your truest desires. It is a moment of light and love designed to help you surrender the past and make space for profound peace and equanimity.

Join Gina and Lilli (acupuncturist) for a special edition Monthly Reset ahead of their Elemental Retreat in Cornwall in May. This will be a seasonal workshop blending Yin Yoga with The Five Elements, with the main focus on Spring and the Wood Element. There will be gentle body movement, passive Yin postures and a Yoga Nidra to rest and rejuvenate.

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets deep connective tissues, joints, and fascia through long-held (3-5 minutes), passive poses. This encourages stillness and mindfulness, helps to increase flexibility, release tension, and cultivate inner calm.

Join us for a wonderful weekend immersion with Ajay Kumar. Bookings are now open for our guest workshop with Ajay who joins us from Sthalam8 in Mysore, India. We’re delighted to welcome him back for his 3rd workshop with us in Hastings! This will be a fantastic opportunity to learn and practice Ashtanga Yoga with a modern Indian yoga teacher, steeped in the traditions of this practice.

Ajay is an incredibly knowledgeable and gifted teacher, with a direct lineage to T.Krishnmacharya through his teacher BNS Iyengar. Through this study, he developed a commitment and understanding for both the physical and spiritual dimensions of yoga, which have now become an integral part of his life.

He has been teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga in Mysore for the past 20 years, and practicing for 30. Ajay has the ability to work with a wide range of individuals, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners, this immersion is open to all.

Handstands are truly magical — they are expansive, fun, empowering ,challenging and so much more! Handstands and arm balances build strength and stability in the arms, shoulders, and upper body, while turning our world upside down in ways that stimulate the nervous system, expand awareness, and challenge what we believe is possible. Their energetic counterpart, headstands, offer a more grounding, inward pathway toward meditation and relaxation.

We are delighted to announce that Andy will be teaching a workshop exploring handstands, arm balances, and headstands. In this workshop he will be paying special attention to shoulder anatomy, safe technique, and supportive exercises to build strength, balance, and confidence — wherever you’re starting from.

Every month here at The Wellington Centre, Rachel invites you to an evening of tuning into the incredible power of your very own breath - because it's so much more than just regular daily breathing.

This session is perfect if you've been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unable to rest, or if you're seeking a deeper connection with yourself and your body. Rachel will guide you through an exploration of your subconscious to access parts of yourself your thinking mind can't reach.

What to expect: The evening begins with gentle guided somatic movement and a demonstration of the breathing technique. Participants then lie down for a powerful guided journey using Conscious Connected Breathing (circular breathing). While this technique can be transformative, you remain in complete control and can return to normal breathing at any time. Rachel focuses on relaxed, gentle breathing without forcing any specific experience. The session concludes with integration time, questions, and optional sharing.

Super Full Moon Gong Bath - Closing 2025 in Gemini

This month's gong bath with resident sound practitioner Tam marks the last supermoon of the year - and the final full moon of 2025. In Gemini, this lunation asks us to integrate the dualities we've carried: light and shadow, speaking and listening, what we've learned and what we're ready to release.

This is your last ceremonial closing of the year. A sonic portal to let go of what 2025 has asked you to carry and make space for what wants to emerge.

Tam works with gongs and crystal singing bowls to create deeply immersive sound journeys. Each session begins with guided meditation, yoga nidra, and/or pranayama - then dissolves into pure vibrational healing. These spiritually invigorating sound immersions are designed to release stuck energy and restore deep nervous system peace.

Yes Queer has been created by queer people for queer, trans and non-binary people to celebrate and move our bodies.

Run by Hannah and Sarah, the session will include yoga, yin, nidra and a sound bath with crystal bowls followed by nourishing treats to eat and drink. It is designed to liberate energy, emotions and mind. It is a space to come to within, to come home to, to increase self-compassion, to nourish a growth mindset and to allow ourselves to take up space.  It is also about joyful expansion and about being in community with others.

You can come as you are, need know no prior experience of yoga or mindfulness and we can accommodate injuries and disabilities.

These 3 hour spaces are an opportunity to work in a small group, 1-1 with Andy.

Potential benefits include: Reconnection with yourself and your intuition, a calmer mind, feeling clearer and more grounded, improved focus and meditation ability, reduced stress and anxiety, release of stored emotions, and moments of profound insight. Benefits may be noticed after one session or develop over time.

Please note: Not suitable for individuals with cardiovascular conditions (high blood pressure, heart disease, history of stroke or aneurysm), recent surgery, glaucoma or detached retina, severe psychiatric disorders, pregnancy, epilepsy, significant respiratory conditions (COPD, severe asthma), or those taking medications that affect breathing rate. Please consult your healthcare practitioner before booking and message the MADRE Team if you're unsure whether attendance is safe for you.

Wear comfortable, loose clothing and eat a light meal 2 hours before. Avoid alcohol before the session.

Every month for the full moon we come together in sacred community to release the past and align your desires. These immersions are aimed at releasing any stuck energy and allowing to fully surrender to make space for peace and equanimity.

Tam's sessions are deeply immersive and spiritually invigorating using a plethora of therapeutic instruments such as the gongs and crystal singing bowls.

18.25 - Please arrive at least 5 minutes before start time 

18.30 - Sound Immersion starting with a guided meditation, Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) and/or pranayama (breathing) exercises 

19.45 - Event ends

Open to all levels and requires no previous experience. Please avoid caffeine a couple of hours prior to the session and alcohol on the day of the session. Wear comfortable warm clothes and bring extra layers as body temperatures drop during the deep meditative states. 

PLEASE NOTE: **Not suitable to anyone suffering from epilepsy in the first trimester of pregnancy or carrying a pacemaker, unless this has been discussed with a health professional and you’re happy to attend at your own risk.
